I’ve had a pre-production unit on Have Another Day’s tender since early this year. I’ve been quite pleased with the data it provides and the compact size of the unit. It’s small enough I could easily install it and all the sensors under the seat of an 11-foot dinghy with ease. I haven’t had a chance to upgrade to the production release of the software but intend to do that in the coming weeks and will report on it further.

This one shows promise, but it looks like it doesn’t yet measure up to BoatCommand, which I would think of as its closest competitor. Specifically, it doesn’t appear to support a shore-power sensor, the ability to monitor multiple battery banks, or relay outputs allowing remote control of onboard systems. I do like that they have a native app as opposed to BoatCommand’s use of a web-app.

      Robert,

I think you’re pretty much spot on with each of the strengths and weaknesses you mention. I love the really low upfront price but the monthly is higher than BoatCommand. It does lack a few of the sensor inputs (and relay outputs) but the native app is a pleasure to use.

How many sensors does it support in total? I’m interested in getting one for my boat but I’m looking for something with 2-3 contact sensors, 1-2 Bilge sensors and 1-2 temperature sensors. The Simrad website and support section has no mention of exactly how many sensors the hub supports.

I hope they bring out a shore power sensor as well as a humidity sensor. Do you also know if they have any plans for wireless sensors?
