Tartan 34 MK ii. Boat name: "Jack Aubrey" Hull 24. Built in 1985. Cruising grounds; Lake Champlain, VT, USA. Began sailing on large boats racing at 15 and stopped at 23. Owned power boats when I was younger for water skiing and my children. Never expected to own my own sailboat. Bought the JA for my wife, Marjorie, and my retirement. Race now around the cans on Thursday nights. Best crew, besides my wife, are my three granddaughters, age 13, 12 and 10. They never stop talking.
