It's become easy to record NMEA data on racing sailboats so I've written some code in an attempt to make the data useful. polarize processes NMEA-0183 or NMEA-2000 data files into polar graphs, strip charts, gpx track files, spreadsheets with leg-by-leg, board-by-board, and minute-by-minute breakdowns.
Relive past races! See if instruments read the same on both tacks (ours don't)! Compare measured performance to your ORR certificate!

Not a fancy app - requires command line use, Python3 and a few external Python libraries.

Can Expedition Strip chart logs be used as input?

I don't have Expedition so I've no idea what format they're in. Overall, the strip charts are cooked from raw data; if Expedition can save its raw NMEA input streams then Polarize should be able to process them.
