Hello Everyone 

 

I am pretty new to installing marine electronics and I was wondering what all training everyone recommends and if anyone knows of any good publications to ready. I want to keep expanding my knowledge of the field

NMEA offers a well-developed series of installer training programs, mostly in the U.S. but also sometimes in Canada, UK, and Europe:

They also try to maintain a calendar of the training sessions offered by marine electronics manufacturers...

...though I think it's pretty incomplete and you should probably ask the particular ones whose gear you install most frequently.

ABYC also offers related training, and there are few college-level programs like The Landing School, IYRS, and Broward College:
