Hi everyone - have been cruising along for some time picking up some really useful tips and advice. Thank you all.
I am looking to update my 10 year old electronics system to a new Garmin one this year. I had planned on using an Ipad as a secondary screen near the cockpit so I can see what is happening as we drift over reefs and wrecks in the English Channel off Plymouth.
I wondered if it was possible to link a panasonic toughbook with windows 7 to the garmin over wifi using an android or IOS simulation program and the appropriate mobile app.
Any one tried it - or have thoughts about it please
