Do the J1939 to NMEA 2000 Gateways convert all the engine faults (over threshold, under threshold, sensor failure) for broadcasting on NMEA2000?

Hi,
I know that Maretron can forward all J1939 warning messages to NMEA 2000 (in hope that chart plotter can interpret this J1939 data). See 2.5.5 here: http://www.maretron.com/support/manuals/J2K100UM_1.4.pdf
In our product ( http://www.yachtd.com/products/engine_gateway.html ) general warnings and alerts are translated to NMEA 2000, and user can additionally define up to 10 mappings of SPN / FMI to NMEA 2000 engine status flags.
Modern engines may have hundreds of SPN / FMI codes, so some customisation is required often.
